ICC World Twenty20 2012 cricket tournament is scheduled to be held in Sri Lanka between September 18 and October 7, 2012. Twelve(12) competitors will participate in this tournament. They are- Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2. Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 are selected by means of Global qualification system for the World Twenty20 held for the ICC Associate and Affiliate members. All teams are divided in 4 groups.
